The Plustek OpticFilm 8200i Ai - the successor of the 7600i Ai - shines with its improved hardware and optimized software adaptation to SilverFast® 8. The scanner has a resolution of 7200 dpi. The high-quality optics enable depth-sharp images even in dark areas. A built-in infrared channel removes dust and scratches on originals. The IT8 calibration template makes it possible to achieve color-accurate and detailed images.

 

The OpticFilm 8200i Ai and SilverFast software are a perfect hardware and software combination. Image processing is made especially easy by the intelligent automatic image processing features of SilverFast software, enabling outstanding scanning results. SilverFast Multi-Exposure® extends the dynamic range. This eliminates noise and improves the visibility of details in dark areas. SilverFast iSRD® uses the device's built-in infrared channel to remove dust and scratches from the original surface.SilverFast's Auto IT8 calibration ensures the scanner is calibrated in just 2 minutes.

 

Bundled with the OpticFilm 8200i Ai is the latest version of Lasersoft Imaging - SilverFast 8 professional imaging software.WorkflowPilot® guides the user step-by-step through the scanning process. Thanks to the clear user interface and the real-time preview, corrections and changes can be visualized directly on the screen. SilverFast 8 is multi-tasking capable and supports 64-bit.
The OpticFilm 8200i Ai produces scan results suitable for both web publishing and printing. Ideal for home users, amateur photographers to professional photographers.

 

Supplied with a film holder for mounted slides that can hold up to 4 slides. Also provided is a holder for film strips with up to 6 frames.
The film and slide holders protect the original during the scanning process.
