Zeiss has always stood for quality around the glass, in their over 100 years long history, the company Zeiss builds everything around the glass, be it telescopes, binoculars, monoculars, spotting scopes or lenses. Zeiss had the first real highlight with the 20x60 in 1990 because of the new technology of image stabilization
Since 2004, the Victory series also continues to raise the standards and demands for quality. Through the fluoride-containing glasses, which reduces the color deviations of the glasses in the binoculars, which significantly improved the color fastness / color perception. In 2012, with the Victory HT, Zeiss set further milestones in light transmission, which now reached more than 95%, enabling better vision even in poor lighting conditions.
What are binoculars used for?
Binoculars are suitable for a wide range of applications. So they are suitable for reconnaissance in military operations, or hunting to track wild animals. As well as for bird watching (ornithology) or hiking. With binoculars, animals can be observed without the need to scare them in their natural habitat. Hunters and birdwatchers are not only on the move in the midday, the more important is the amount of light that the glass of the binoculars lets through. It is important to have a good performance at dusk as well as at dawn. Binoculars are also used on the high seas to observe the cruising ships / freighters or to better detect possible objects on the water to prevent accidents.
The special features of Zeiss binoculars
