With the Samyang AF 35mm F1.8 FE, you'll create photos that inspire. The extremely high resolving power of the optical design enables images that are crisp from the center to the very edge. This also has a very positive effect on open aperture work: At a shallow depth of field, the subject appears clearly exposed, and the resulting soft bokeh stands out clearly from the foreground.
Technology that leaves nothing to be desired
The features of the Lens are impressive: the weather protection allows use even in adverse conditions, the Ultra-Multi-Coating (UMC) as well as the four special lenses, two ASP (aspherical) and two HR (high-refractive), prevent aberrations, ghosting, flares and other aberrations. The focus is driven by a linear stepper motor (LSTM) that is extremely quiet at 23.05 dB, yet incredibly fast. The Lens is extremely compact at 63.5mm in length and 65mm in diameter. Thanks to its compact design, it weighs only 210 grams and is hardly noticeable.
Versatile - the Custom Switch for personal configuration
With the Custom Switch, the Samyang AF 35mm F1.8 opens up the possibility for you to configure the lens individually. Using a separately available Lens Station, you can assign the two switch positions Mode 1 and 2 with the specified functions as desired: Manual Focus, Manual Iris, Auto Focus and Auto Iris.
