Completes cinematic creativity
The Samyang 50mm T1.5 AS UMC is a full-frame standard lens. The image angle of 46.2° corresponds most closely to the human field of view, which is why this lens is equally suitable as a standard lens as well as a supplement for different angles of view. The Samyang Lens with a focal length of 50mm has been specially developed for professional video and film production.

Cine-Lens Features
With the Samyang 50mm T1.5 AS UMC VDSLR Lens, the focus can be adjusted very precisely. A follow focus ring enables exact tracking of the focus area, while the aperture can be adjusted smoothly and silently. In addition to the distance and aperture scales on both sides, a gear ring is of course also provided for aperture adjustment.

Optical processing
The Samyang 50mm video lens impresses optically with its light intensity of T1.5, which enables the user to achieve perfect results both in low light situations and in very bright surroundings.
The lens construction of 9 lenses, arranged in 6 groups, houses 1 aspherical glass lens (ASP) and an aspherical hybrid lens (H-ASP), which ensures the highest resolution.
The H-ASP lenses in particular minimize colour shifts and ensure crisp contrasts from the center of the image to the outer edges. Samyang's coating technology is responsible for optimum light yield and minimizes ghost images and annoying flares.

Processing
8 aperture blades ensure an almost circular aperture. When the lens is stopped down, beautiful, crystal-clear, star-shaped backlights are created. The Lens barrel is made of robust aluminum and impresses with its compact design. The lens hood included in the scope of delivery keeps out interfering light sources.

Samyang 50mm T/1.5 VDSLR AS UMC Sony FE mount
