Leofoto Monopod MP-285C Carbon monopod
1,540 mm working height (without attached head) with maximum leg extension is an ideal height. This means that the ball head (or panhead) and camera are practically at eye level for most photographers. And when a super telephoto lens is in front of the camera, the MP-285C is really in its element. Because it can carry an impressive 18 kg of weight. An outstanding performance for a weight of just 450 g! Because the pack size of 430 mm is also kept nice and small, this monopod is the ideal all-round companion for sports and action photography. Speaking of all-round: the five round leg segments with diameters of 28, 25, 22, 19 and 17 mm are not only very light thanks to carbon. Thanks to the particularly precise processing of this excellent material, they are velvety smooth to move and certainly do not twist. The rubberized twist locks can be loosened or tightened literally in the blink of an eye. The tripod plate is crowned by a combination screw with a ¼" and 3/8" thread. Of course, you could attach many different heads to it. However, an ideal partner for this MP-285C monopod would be the Leofoto GH-20 two-way panhead, for example.
